Since opening at our Surry Hills address early this year| our ownership trio - Stephen de Launay| Adam de Launay and Bede Hunt| have all worked tirelessly to bring you Sydney's premier smoked seafood restaurant.

However this pursuit was not created over night - the Smokehouse is actually the culmination of decades dedicated to the perfection of customary seafood smoking.

Traditional smoking methods have always been a passion for Stephen| a master chef who boasts an international a-la-carte repetoire. Stephen leads the Smokehouse kitchen team who construct an ever changing| delectable menu using premium ingredients| and of course our famous hot smoked seafood| prepared using our 100% natural| chemical free method.

Australia's freshest and finest seafood is sourced| and aged South Coast hard wood is used in our purpose built smokehouses| creating the mouth watering| signature flavor of the unique smoked delicacies we are proud to offer at The Smokehouse.

And as for the wine...
Our Licensee Bede| with years of experience in viticulture| is anxious to share with you his great enthusiasm for wine. Our collection| meticulously selected by Bede| is a tribute to the extensive variety of fabulous wines available in Australia today. Bede ensures that there is something to satisfy every palate| and to compliment the distinctive flavours offered at
The Smokehouse.

With Stephen in the kitchen| and Bede at the bar| Adam will be there to greet you in our atmospheric dining room. You can always expect a warm reception from Adam| whose attention to detail is obvious in our immaculately presented and inviting dining area.
